These Terms of Service (&quotTerms&quot) govern your access to and use of the Ghost platform, including all services, features, listings, and transaction flows available through our website.

By accessing or using Ghost, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ghost.

By using the platform, you confirm that:

• You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. Platform Role

Ghost is a technology platform that facilitates listings and managed transactions between users.

• Ghost is not the merchant of record for user-created listings.
• Ghost does not independently own or control items submitted by users.
• Ghost does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, or legitimacy of user-submitted listings.

All transactions occur directly between users, subject to the automated systems defined on the platform.

3. User Responsibilities

Publishers must:

• Provide accurate and complete listing information.
• Ensure any delivery information submitted through the platform is valid and usable.
• Refrain from interfering with a completed delivery.

Purchasers must:

• Review delivered items within the provided review window.
• Verify relevant details promptly after access is granted.

Failure to act within required timeframes may result in loss of rights to dispute.

4. Transaction Flow & Escrow

Ghost uses an automated protected checkout flow:

1. The purchaser completes payment.
2. Protected delivery details become available according to the transaction state.
3. A review timer begins.
4. The purchaser must review the delivered item within this period.

Fund Release:

• Funds are released when the purchaser confirms the transaction.
• Funds are released when the timer expires without dispute.

All releases are automatic and final, except in limited dispute cases (see Section 6).

5. Platform Fees

Ghost charges a platform fee on transactions.

• Fees may be deducted during withdrawal or transaction completion.
• Fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Ghost reserves the right to modify fees at any time.

6. Disputes & Intervention

Ghost operates primarily on automated enforcement, not manual arbitration.

Limited disputes may be raised when:

• A publisher provides invalid, misleading, or unusable delivery information.
• A transaction is clearly fraudulent.

Important:

• Buyers must raise disputes within the active transaction window.
• Ghost may request evidence from both parties.
• Decisions made by Ghost are final.

Ghost is not obligated to resolve all disputes and may decline intervention where evidence is insufficient.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

• Use Ghost for illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
• Attempt to bypass platform systems (including off-platform transactions).
• Harass, threaten, or manipulate other users.
• Exploit platform mechanics unfairly.

8. Listing Origin Disclaimer

Ghost does not independently verify the origin or prior history of items listed on the platform.

By using Ghost:

• Purchasers accept the risks associated with user-supplied listing history and representations.
• Publishers are solely responsible for the legitimacy of their listings.

Ghost shall not be held liable for:

• Third-party reversals or prior-access disputes.
• Bans, suspensions, or restrictions imposed by game publishers or external platforms.
• Losses arising from inaccurate user-supplied listing history.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Ghost shall not be liable for:

• Loss of access after delivery or transfer.
• User misconduct or fraud.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

Ghost reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts at any time.
• Remove listings or restrict access without prior notice.

Especially in cases involving:

• Fraud.
• Abuse of platform systems.
• Violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
